The publication flagged it as fake.
The cover bearing the headline, “Youths to march to parliament in protest against corruption.” is not from the 2nd July publication of the Daily Monitor paper as circulated on social media
The front page contains images of Ugandan Parliament Speaker Anita Among, former Leader of Opposition Mathias Mpuuga, and Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja.
This comes at a time when Ugandans are expressing their discontentment with their parliamentary representatives for being corrupt and still in public office.
Further research reveals that the publication flagged the cover under scrutiny on X, terming it fake.
