Call For Apllications: Content Influencer

Position: Content Influencer
Location: Central Uganda (with flexibility for remote work)
Duration: December 2025 – May 2026
Reports to: Project Lead (Debunk Media Initiative)
Key Responsibilities
- Promote verified content, video explainers, and fact-checks across social media platforms (TikTok, X, Facebook).
- Collaborate with Debunk’s digital and editorial teams to design engaging online campaigns that encourage information verification.
- Create short, creative posts, videos, and graphics aligned with the project’s messaging.
- Monitor audience engagement and provide feedback on reach and impact.
Requirements
- Active presence on at least two major social media platforms (TikTok, X, Instagram, or Facebook, youtube).
- Proven experience in content creation, digital marketing, or social media influencing.
- Strong communication skills and creativity.
- Commitment to promoting credible, factual information and avoiding disinformation.
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Edward Tumwine is a Digital Communications Consultant, Lecturer, and Media Viability Expert with over nine years of experience in media relations, content strategy, and digital communications. He has advised organizations and journalists on media sustainability, new media skills, and leveraging digital tools for impact. Edward currently serves as the Communications Officer at Debunk Media Initiative, where he leads strategic communications to combat misinformation. He also lectures in Multimedia Production at Uganda Christian University’s School of Journalism and Communication.
