FALSE: The Simpsons did not predict monkeypox outbreak

A post on X (formerly Twitter), with a video claiming to show The Simpsons predicting a monkeypox outbreak is FALSE. The clip shows scenes from The Simpsons, an American animated sitcom, and claims that the show predicted the monkeypox outbreak globally back in 2002.

However, the circulating clip has been edited to suggest that The Simpsons predicted monkeypox.
