HOAX: Uganda Red Cross Society did not issue this job advert

This is a scam to rob the public of its money and illegally collect applicants’ information

The multinational organisation came out and flagged the advert as untrue as they are not hiring as purported by the job advert

The advert with over 30 jobs listed attaches an application fee of 40,000Ugx for all interested applicants.

“Those who do not have a Red Cross membership card must register with 40,000 UGX to get Instant Membership Registration before proceeding with the application. The Money is refundable if you do not qualify for the job applied for and do not wish to remain as a Red Cross member,” the advert reads in part.”

The advert also promises successful applicants to earn USh920,000 and above, depending on the job.

However, research shows that the charity organization flagged the advertisement on its X account (formerly Twitter) as debunked by our partner Pesacheck.
