The viral video was posted on 26^th December, 2025, and has a viewership of 1M, 53.8k likes, 1,817 comments, 4,244 bookmarks and 18.1k shares. The video drew public attention because during this period, the country was preparing for the 2026 general election.

MANIPULATED: The claim that Donald Trump told Museveni to retire is false. The video used to support the claim shows Trump speaking at the Republican National Convention, but the words attributed to him were manipulated and do not match the actual speech. Whereas the footage is real, the content in the claim video was manipulated. In the original speech, Trump never made such remarks towards Yoweri Museveni. Whereas the video footage is real, the claim misrepresents the facts of the original video.
