A social media post circulating on TikTok claims that the United States and North Korean President Kim Jong Un agreed to militarily intervene in Uganda’s politics at the request of the National Unity Platform (NUP) if Electoral Commission Chairperson Byabakama fails to declare Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine) president.

Misleading: There is no evidence to support claims that the United States and North Korea agreed to militarily intervene in Uganda’s politics at NUP’s request if Byabakama does not declare Bobi Wine president-elect.
