Ministry Of Health Uganda clarifies there is NO resurgence of COVID-19 in Uganda

Ministry Of Health Uganda has come out officially to address the ongoing speculation that there is a resurgence of COVID-19 in the country. Through a press released shared on their social media platforms, they have reassured the public that there is NO resurgence of COVID-19 in Uganda and the national situation is stable and fully under control since the major outbreak three years ago.

Many Ugandans have expressed concern and fear on social media hence leading many into panic. This also has a far reaching effect on sectors like tourism, investment and travel that maybe affected if such information is believed to be true.

Emmanuel Ainebyoona, the Senior Public Relations Officer of Ministry Of Health Uganda decried the misinformation spread on Tiktok is alarming and urged people to stop spreading false information that can send people into panic.
