FABRICATED: There are no aliens meeting any world leaders anywhere
CLAIM
Social media posts on X are circulating images of white-haired figures seated or standing alongside world leaders. One widely shared post asks: “Why are these Targaryens/aliens meeting world leaders & super powers?”
The post implies that the images depict extraterrestrial beings meeting political leaders.
However, there is no evidence that any aliens have met any world leaders.
Findings:
A reverse image search of the image featuring President Museveni traced it back to an authentic news photograph showing Museveni meeting Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces commander Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo at State House in Entebbe. The viral version retains the same room, furniture, flags, carpet and seating arrangement, but the person seated opposite Museveni has been digitally replaced with a white-haired fantasy-style figure.
Another reverse image search of the image featuring Trump produced authentic photographs of Trump in the same suit and tie, but no credible news reports, or verified records of any meeting involving the white-haired figures.
If world leaders had genuinely met extraterrestrial beings, there would be extensive evidence, including multiple photographs, video footage, official statements and widespread international media coverage. No such evidence exists.
We also used the Debunk Information Verifier, a tool used to search and verify information and found no credible evidence supporting claims that either Museveni or Trump met extraterrestrial beings. The tool indicated that the claim appears to originate from conspiracy theories, social media speculation and manipulated imagery rather than verifiable evidence.
Methodology
To verify the claim, we:
- Conducted reverse image searches on the viral images.
- Compared the viral images with the earliest available versions found online.
- Examined whether the alleged meetings were documented by multiple independent sources.
- Used a Debunk Information Verifier tool to assess whether credible evidence exists supporting claims that President Yoweri Museveni or former U.S. President Donald Trump met extraterrestrial beings.
Verdict: FABRICATED:
The claim that aliens meeting world leaders is fabricated and should be treated with caution. No credible evidence was found to support claims that extraterrestrial beings have met President Yoweri Museveni, Donald Trump, or any other world leader.
